THQ Inc. et JAKKS Pacific Inc. ont annoncés aujourd'hui que un certain WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW Online (titre provisoire) est en développement chez Vertigo, avec lequel ils ont trouvé un accord. Prévu sur PC uniquement en 2010 (en Asie), SvR Online sera l'aboutissement d'une nouvelle franchise dérivée de la marque WWE. Voila ce que l'éditeur Américain à affirmé (V.O.) :

Ce jeu sera donc ce que l'on appel un MMORPG (jeu massivement multi-joueur). Les gamers évolueront dans un univers communs, où chaque superstar, réelle ou inventée devra se faire une place dans le WWE Hall of Fame.
